Rank math review schema vs schema Gutenberg block

    Hi. I have been using rank math review schema for the past few months on my blog for my book reviews. I recently started adding a Gutenberg review block from otter blocks (see here: https://demo.themeisle.com/otter-blocks/product-review/) to display a summary of my review.

    My question is will this otter review block schema clash with the review schema from rank math? If yes, what would you suggest i change my rank math schema to? Because I prefer to keep the otter schema block for my blog posts.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    Looking at the product you shared it seems that it also adds the Schema markup from the reviews to the page so we would recommend that you use either our own implementation or that plugin’s implementation.

    The reason for this is because if you use both you will be adding duplicate information to the page and that would do more harm than good.

    Since you already mentioned you are interested in working with that plugin’s implementation we recommend completely removing the Rank Math Schema from those pages to prevent the issues mentioned above.
