We are seeing the following gibberish where the rank math dashboard widget should be after migrating to Rank Math … anyone have an idea of what might be causing this issue? https://imgur.com/a/ZsDdmMn

Redirection import also fails during migration.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

For initial troubleshooting, please clear your website’s cache if the Analytics Overview widget is showing like in your screenshot.

Regarding the CSV redirect import, please share the redirection CSV file so we can check it as well.

You can upload the file on https://wetransfer.com/ or any file-sharing service like Google Drive and add the generated link here.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Is rank math compatible with varnish and reddis object cache? I can get the rank math dashboard to work very briefly after flushing varnish, object cache / reddis and breeze our cacheing plugin, but it then reverts to gibberish upon page refresh. We also use cloudflare enterprise / edge page cacheing, fwiw. https://www.loom.com/share/e3582e57cb814214965db034fc10d827?sid=16a7a846-c769-4213-8813-44744e05f1e0

Regarding redirections, it would be nice to have your migration plugin successfully migrate directions… it goes through the import screen during migration and looks like it is importing, but then there are no directions in Rank Math, they have to then be manually imported using your import tool. I’m attempting to move a bunch of clients over and this makes this process hard than it needs to be.

    Any feedback appreciated.

Also have to keep reconnecting to Rank Math and when I do reconnect to google, it tells me I’m already giving permission to rank math: https://imgur.com/a/0kUkdb7

    Hello,

Thank you so much for the video screencast you shared.

Please try excluding the Rest API endpoints /wp-json/rankmath/ in Vanish and Reddis cache and try again.

If that doesn’t work, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

After clearing all caches and putting the cache exclusions you requested in, there was no change, however disabling and re-enabling our cacheing plugin, breeze, the widget issue has resolved.

The final issue is that every couple of days our analytics is disconnected (but green dot still shows in sidebar of wp dashboard next to “analytics” in the menu, as opposed to when we manually disconnect and it shows red) and we are faced with this screen in screenshot below. The domain also no longer shows https://rankmath.com/my-account/websites/ but when I connect it again via the dashboard, google tells me that it already has some access > I connect > it then populates again at https://rankmath.com/my-account/websites/ as a “connected website” and shows the original connect date that was about a week ago.

Any thoughts on how to resolve? https://imgur.com/a/0kUkdb7

    Hello,

To debug this issue the next time the message appears to reconnect the plugin, don’t activate it and check the database for the following entry in the options table: rank_math_connect_data

If you don’t see that option there, that would indicate why the connection is lost. Something is deleting that option from the database and causing the activation to break.

In such cases, we are sure it’s not something from our plugin but rather something else on the website because we would never delete an option required to keep the activation running.

In case the option is present on the website, that means that the encryption of data is not working correctly and to fix that you would need to follow the steps here: https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-automatic-update-unavailable-for-this-plugin/#disable-sensitive-data-encryption

Hope this helps solve your issues.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
