Rank math block does not appear

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the Rank Math block not appearing in the “Collection” taxonomy on your WooCommerce website. I understand that you’ve tried using Yoast, and it worked as expected.

The issue you’re facing could be due to the Rank Math meta box not being enabled for the “Collection” taxonomy. To resolve this, you can navigate to the “Titles & Meta” settings in Rank Math SEO and ensure that the meta box is enabled for the “Collection” taxonomy.

Here’s how you can do it:

1. Navigate to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta from your WordPress dashboard.

   

2. Run a quick check on the “Collection” taxonomy to ensure that the Rank Math meta box is enabled for it.

If you’re using the Block Editor, you should see the Rank Math SEO icon at the top-right corner. When you click the icon, the Rank Math’s SEO Meta Box should be visible.

If you’re using the Classic Editor, scroll down a bit, and you should find the Meta Box. If it doesn’t appear, click on the Screen Options at the top-right of your screen and check the Rank Math SEO checkbox.

Check the Rank Math SEO checkbox, and you should now see the SEO Meta Box in the Classic editor.

If you have multiple Meta Boxes, you may need to add a filter to WordPress so that Rank Math knows your most important Meta Boxes. You can refer to our dedicated tutorial on how to add a filter/hook to your website.

Rank Math is not recognizing the taxonomy created using the Product Filter plugin because they have used the init hook with priority 9999 to register the taxonomy. Due to this, Rank Math’s code looks for the taxonomies before they get registered in the Filter plugin.

It is recommended to register the post type and taxonomies with the default WordPress priority so it doesn’t conflict with other plugins. This is something the Product Filter team will have to fix in their plugin. Please share this information with them. For now, to fix the issue on your site, please remove the 9999 priority added in the init hook in the file wp-content/plugins/prdctfltr/prdctfltr.php on line 103.
