Hello there, i have an woocommerce(7.5.1) eshop with rank math SEO(1.0.111).
My problem is, i get randomly(everyday) blank pages when i click on categories url’s.. Sometimes the same links redirects to homepage.
The only solution i have find, which doesn’t always work, is to save the permalinks manually.
On rank math’s general settings -> Woocommerce i have all ticks enable, Remove base , category base, parent slug, generator tag..
My categories urls is https://ligaapola.gr/pleksimo/ which is clean and simple, without any /product-category/ or /shop/A friend told me maybe its conflict of litespeed cache plugin we use and rank math
Do you have any advices or solutions?
Thank you,
George

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
If the category URLs are working after saving the permalinks, we recommend getting in touch with the LiteSpeed cache to find rules that would prevent shortening the URLs from happening on your website.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Hello Reinelle!!
Thanks for your reply. We did some more troubleshooting,
we unistall the litespeed cache plugin. Now we dont have any cache system on our website.
The save permalinks is a solution only for a moment, because after 5-10 minutes it may do that again.
We have noticed it mostly the days with much traffic. Also, our hosting support has seen that before in another site as they told us.
The function of rank math which cut parts of url conflict with the LiteSpeed server(not the cache plugin).Have you got any other permanent solution instead of disabling this functionality? After disabling it though do we have to create manually redirections for each category url’s? from domain.com/categoryname to domain.com/shop/categoryname?
And for each product as well?On Rank math General Settings -> Woocommerce, we have enable the Remove base, Remove category base, Remove parent slugs.
Haven’t you seen that again?
Thank you in advance
GeorgeHello,
We understand that uninstalling the LiteSpeed cache plugin has led to a need for a caching system for your website.
Since your hosting provider confirmed the issue originates from the server itself and not the caching plugin, you can safely reactivate the LiteSpeed cache plugin.
Saving permalinks, as you mentioned, provides only a temporary solution, and we understand your desire to find a more permanent fix without disabling the URL base removal functionality.
However, we acknowledge that your hosting provider is better positioned to assist you in resolving this matter.
We suggest a potential solution that might help is dynamically flushing the permalinks.
You could address this issue by adding a code snippet to automatically flush the permalinks upon user visits or setting up a cron job to run every 10 minutes.
Please note that this method should be used as a troubleshooting tool rather than for long-term use, as it may hurt your website’s performance.
We request that you consider contacting your hosting provider for their valuable assistance in implementing the required code or cron job.
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hello thanks for answering!
I already tried to create a cron job but it makes things worse for some reason.
Its the first time you heard this problem?
It seems curious, because, almost 10% of the servers is Litespeed, and rank math’s is the most popular plugin for SEO. I can’t be the only one who has this problem. If i disable the shortening url function, do i have to create redirections manually for each url so that i dont lose traffic?
Thanks in advance,
GeorgeHello,
I tried to navigate to the website for few minutes and I didn’t encounter any blank pages. I confirmed from our dev team as well and according to them our plugin don’t have any issue with Litespeed server.
I would suggest please contact the hosting and if they can share some error log with us to understand the issue better that would be helpful.
Also, if disable the URL shortening, you don’t have to do the redirect.
Let us know what the hosting provider say in regards to error log.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello again!

In the access log, sometimes it returns 0 bytes (blank page) and sometimes works well.. I close everything of cache, the native cache of litespeed server (LSCache) and also litespeed cache plugin. The problem still exist… and i got tired and say lets disable this Remove category base thing..
Well, the category urls becomes like ligaapola.gr/product-category/pleksimo/ , so from the menu links it works well.
But still the url ligaapola.gr/pleksimo/ gives blank page(and now everytime).I tried to create a redirect from /pleksimo/ to ligaapola.gr/product-category/pleksimo/ but i was getting blank page aswell.
I filter some access logs with my ip to check
https://pastebin.com/t8n6Jka2Thank you for your time and your effort

Hello,
We checked the logs, and everything appears to be running fine with a 200 status code.
Please confirm with your hosting provider that your server configurations are correct and not causing any issues with content delivery.
Also request them to inspect your server’s resources, such as CPU and memory usage, to ensure no resource limitations affect page delivery.
If the issue persists, contact your hosting provider to investigate potential server-side issues or any downtime causing the problem.
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
