Product Schema implemented on Singular Page

    Hi,

I’m currently working with a business that focuses solely on providing services. However, they do offer to sell a minimal selection of products. (Not enough to download WooCommerce since they ship themselves, offer pickup, and do not accept payments through the site.)

On the entire site, the pages are assigned as a service for the schema. But when I create a page specifically for products, I go into the “edit page” to create the product schema.

The problem is that the schema populates under the page content that I already made for the product.

Is there a way to have the product schema only on the backend and not displaying on the page, because it is causing duplicate content now?

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out with your concern about the Product Schema displaying on the page content for your products. I understand that you want to have the Product Schema implemented on the backend without it displaying on the page to avoid duplicate content issues.

To address this, you can follow these steps to add the Product Schema without it showing on the frontend:

    1. Edit Your Product Page:

      • Navigate to the edit page for your product.
      • Click on Edit to access the editing options.
    2. Navigate to the Schema Settings:

      • In the editing options, locate the Schema tab and click on it.
      • Then, click on Schema Generator to set up the Schema for your product.
    3. Configure the Product Schema:

      • Choose the appropriate Schema type for your product, such as WooCommerce Product Schema.
      • After configuring the Schema, click on Save for this Post to apply the changes.

By following these steps, you can set up the Product Schema for your products without it displaying on the frontend content of your pages, helping you avoid duplicate content issues.

If you encounter any further difficulties or have additional questions, please feel free to provide more details or screenshots in your reply. We are here to assist you further.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Kind regards.

    Hello,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

To remove the schema data on the frontend, you may need to choose Custom (use shortcode) option in the Review Location field upon editing the schema
