    Hi,

Many products are not found in Google after updating them to a variable from simple products.

I have updated them instead of creating new listing because most of them have verified product reviews from our valuable customers.

Please let me know what to do – please describe me in steps so that I can solve my product visibility on google.

    Thank you,
    Jatin Patel

  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Please make sure that your product pages are still eligible for rich results which you can check here.

You may also share some of the affected product URLs here so we can take a closer look at them.

    I tested it & it’s perfect. https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=NHtYCEUO1HPEaS_exkfpNw

But my issue is not that. My issue is, I can`t find them on Google after updating them from simple products to variable products. Also, I waited for 55+ days & after that, I am here for help.

    Hello,

The URL you shared is already indexed in Google:

If you can’t find it for the search term you are using then it isn’t ranking for that. You will have to optimize the content of the product for the search term and wait for Google to start ranking it.

Please note that ranking on Google depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:

    1. Your website’s authority
    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.
    3. How competitive the keyword is.
    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other guys ranking for that keyword have.
    5. Your website’s crawlability.
    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.
    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂 https://backlinko.com/google-ranking-factors

We would recommend that you keep at it and work on acquiring more links to break into the top SERPs.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

I got your point, This URL is just an example of my issue, It was indexed just a few days back.

I have lots of other products which I have updated but till date they are not indexed/crawled to the new (updated page) – This is a mystery for me.

Why my product has not been indexed/crawled to new (updated product page) even more than 40+ days after its last update by me? I click on “Instant Indexing: Submit Page” when I update my products.

I want to know, how this scenario is working, or “Instant Indexing: Submit Page” is just a fake button or for misleading.

    Hello,

Could you please share some affected URLs with us so that we can check the issue further for you?

Meanwhile, please check your Google Search Console coverage section to determine any issues reported on your site: https://support.artlogic.net/hc/en-gb/articles/360016851260-Google-Search-Console-errors-and-coverage-issues

You can share the error message or take a screenshot using this tool and add the link here so we can check as well.

Regarding the Instant Indexing, please note that the purpose of using this plugin is to tell Google to response to the indexing request that has been sent. However, it’s up to Google how long they want to take to index those URLs. You can keep an eye on the coverage section of GSC to get notified if any issue or error shows up for the affected URLs.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
