Hello,
I appreciate your input and understand your inclination to solve the issue swiftly by uninstalling and reinstalling the Rank Math plugins.
However, this may not resolve the conflict between the plugins and your theme. You can still try this out on your end.
The issue stems from a fundamental incompatibility between your theme and the Rank Math plugins. As such, reinstalling the plugin will likely not eliminate this conflict.
Instead, it could recreate the same issue since the underlying cause, the theme conflict, is not addressed.
The most effective action would be to contact the support team for your theme. They have comprehensive knowledge of the theme’s code and functionalities, so they are best equipped to identify and resolve this conflict.
Once this is resolved, the Rank Math plugin should function seamlessly without requiring reinstallation.
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Yes I am gonna reach out to them for sure but before I would love to re-install for myself, the only problem it is not my licence but the agency’s so I am not able to activate the plugin on my own.
Thank you
Hello,
Sure, please proceed with the attempt to reinstall the Rank Math plugin before reaching out to theme support.
Since the agency holds the plugin’s license, you would need their assistance to reactivate it on your site after reinstallation.
We will keep this support ticket open to ensure we can assist you further if necessary.
Please don’t hesitate to update us on your progress.
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Yes thank you, but is there any chance I can create a backup of my settings without the buttons to function?
Hello,
I understand that you wish to backup your current plugin settings before proceeding with the uninstallation and reinstallation of Rank Math.
If I’ve understood you correctly, you’re referring to the export options under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Import & Export, but you cannot use these due to the existing conflict.
To utilize these features despite the conflict, a potential workaround could be temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme.
It should allow the buttons and features to function correctly, enabling you to create a backup of your settings.
Once you’ve backed up your settings, you can revert to your original theme and proceed with uninstalling and reinstalling Rank Math.
After the plugin is reinstalled and activated with the help of your agency, you can then import the saved settings again by switching to the default theme if the conflict exists.
We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Thank you, actually it was a good idea. I changed back to original WP theme and I could create a backup about the settings, however re-installing the plugin as you suggested could not solve my problem so I am gonna take this matter to the theme creator. Do you have any idea where they should look for the conflict or what can cause it? Since you could check it and in that case they could come up with a solution faster.
Thanks again
