    Hi,

Does Rank math help resolve issues like this?
I received an email from Google about pages getting not indexed
    because of…

    Page with redirect
    Soft 404
    Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag
    Not found (404]

    Thanks for your reply?

  • Hi Jeffrey,

Thank you for your interest in Rank Math. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with getting your pages indexed by Google. We understand how frustrating this can be. Don’t worry, Rank Math can definitely help you resolve these issues:

    • Page with redirect: This means that Google is trying to crawl a page that sends visitors to another page. You can fix this by creating 301 redirects with Rank Math’s Redirections module. This will tell Google to update its index and follow the new page. You can find out how to use Rank Math’s Redirections module in this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/setting-up-redirections/
    • Soft 404: This means that Google is trying to crawl a page that has little or no content, but it still returns a 200 OK status code. Google thinks that this page should return a 404 Not Found status code instead. This can happen if your page is under construction, has been deleted, or has been replaced by another page. To fix this, you can either restore the page, add more content to it, or redirect it to a relevant page using Rank Math’s Redirections module. You can also use Rank Math’s 404 Monitor module to identify and fix any broken links on your website. You can learn more about how to use Rank Math’s 404 Monitor module here: https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-404-errors/
    • Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag: This issue means that your page has a ‘noindex’ meta tag or HTTP header that tells Google not to index it and Google is respecting your request to not index the page. This might be intentional or unintentional. If it’s intentional, make sure that you only use the ‘noindex’ tag on pages that you don’t want to appear in search results, such as a thank you page, a login page, or a private page. If it’s unintentional, remove the ‘noindex’ tag from your page or use Rank Math’s settings to control the indexability of your pages. You can use Rank Math to set which pages you want Google to index and which pages you do not want to be indexed, you can also do this in bulk and in massive scale. You can learn more about how to fix this issue here: https://rankmath.com/kb/excluded-by-noindex-tag/
    • Not found (404): This issue means that Google is trying to index a page that does not exist on your website. This can happen if you have changed or deleted the URL of a page without redirecting it, or if Google has found an incorrect link to your website from another source. To fix this, you can either create the missing page, redirect it to an existing page using Rank Math’s Redirections module, or ask Google to remove it from its index using the Remove URLs tool in Google Search Console.

I hope this helps you understand and resolve the issues you are facing with your pages. If you have any further questions or need more assistance, please feel free to reply to this ticket and we will be happy to help.

    Best regards,
