When I search the title of a blog post in Google search, it doesn’t show my post title, instead of that it shows the site name in search result.

It’s happening since I published the 10th blog post on my website.

    Please help me.

This is the url of my website.

    Hello,

We’ve checked some of your blog posts on Google with the site: operator and we can see Google is showing the correct meta title>

However, please note that nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta title and description for your search query result. Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.

You can follow this URL for details on this issue:

Actually, Google is showing me, “Alternate page with proper canonical tag” error. That’s why, most of the blog posts of my site are not showing in search results. It’s being happened since I installed AMP.

Some blog posts which were ranking in search results earlier, now these aren’t showing when I search the focus keyword or title.

Now, I have deleted AMP plugin. All of my blog posts were ranking under top 20 search results, but now they aren’t showing when I search them on Google.

Now, I think you got what I am talking about.

    Hello,

The message Alternate page with proper canonical tag indicates that you have two pages on your site that share the same canonical URL. A canonical URL is a way of telling Google which page is the original or preferred version of a page. This helps to avoid duplicate content issues and improve your SEO.

When Google sees two pages with the same canonical URL, it will index only one of them and ignore the other. This means that you don’t have to worry about any negative impact on your site’s ranking or performance. Google understands that you have set the canonical URL correctly and respects your preference.

If you want to learn more about this topic, we have a detailed guide that explains everything you need to know: https://rankmath.com/kb/alternate-page-with-proper-canonical-tag/

We hope this helps. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us anytime. We are always here to help.

I’m not understanding what I should do. Can you please provide a step by step guide with pictures? It will help me a lot.

    Hello,

I believe there’s been confusion. We have checked your site and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Could you please explain what the problem is and how we could be of help?

Regarding the Alternate page with proper canonical tag question you raised, there is nothing to do on your end since this is the correct behavior. Google found two or more pages with the same canonical URL and is just notifying you that it will index only one of them. No action is needed from you here.

Regarding the initial issue you raised about Google showing your site name instead of the post title, we could not replicate this on our end. When we searched for your website, it showed the correct meta details. Perhaps you could share some screenshots so we understand what you’re seeing on your end. You can share images with us by uploading them to an image hosting site like Imgur, and then sharing the generated URL with us here.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
