Hello,
I apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing with the compatibility between Rank Math and Polylang. While Rank Math is compatible with many multilingual plugins, including WPML and TranslatePress, there may be some compatibility issues with Polylang.
The specific issues that may arise when using Rank Math with Polylang can vary depending on the versions of the plugins and the specific configurations of your website. Some users have reported issues with the translation of SEO metadata, such as titles and descriptions, when using Polylang with Rank Math.
However, it’s important to note that Rank Math does include translated pages in the sitemap, so you should not have any issues with search engines indexing your translated content.
If you would like to use Polylang with Rank Math, I recommend testing the plugins together on a staging or test environment to ensure they work well together and meet your requirements. If you encounter any issues or have specific questions about the compatibility between Rank Math and Polylang, please feel free to provide more details, and we will do our best to assist you.
Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your interest in using Rank Math for your multilingual website.

“Some users have reported issues with the translation of SEO metadata, such as titles and descriptions, when using Polylang with Rank Math.”
I don’t see those issues, both title and meta description work as expected.
I just want to know will I see some problems down the line if I keep using Polylang with Rank Math in production….
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.
Unfortunately, Rank Math is still not yet 100% compatible with Polylang.
We have been trying to collaborate with them for a few years but left the conversation when they refused to add the compatibility even though they have it for several other plugins (some of them have a smaller user base compared to RM).
Moreover, Rank Math is already compatible with some other Multilingual plugins:

Hope that helps.
Thank you.
“refused to add the compatibility”
If you have any details on what exactly isn’t compatible that would be useful so that I know what to look out for….
Hello,
Features like Strip Category Base, canonical URLs and sitemap generation for secondary languages, etc, might not work correctly with Polylang. We recommend using a fully compatible translation plugin with Rank Math to make sure that you don’t face any issues.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you for providing details.
I’m interested in Polylang because Polylang is fully functional in its free version unlike their competition.
Since I’m not using those features you mentioned and from what I see sitemap generation, title and meta descriptions work as expected I might just continue using Rank Math with Polylang…
Hello,
Yes, that’s fine – you can use the features that work together. If you run into any issues with those features, we’ll be here to help you navigate them.
In the meantime, I’m closing this ticket now but if you ever have another question or need any help in the future, please don’t hesitate to create a new forum topic. We’ll be more than happy to assist you again.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math and have a wonderful day!
Cheers
