Plugin Active but not working

    Hi, the plugin used to work properly but after an update it stopped working and no longer works even after switching back to old versions.
    We were holding off on other plugin updates but to attempt a fix for this we have updated everything in our site but the problem persists.

    Tried the troubleshoot mode, and even with only the RankMath plugin enabled with the default theme, still don’t see rankmath options in posts/pages.

    A few other notes:

    1. When click settings on any module it gives following error “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
    2. Error logs gives the following message “The error log cannot be retrieved. ”
    3. And the setup wizard opens a blank screen

    This is a business critical issue for us, would appreciate quick assistance.

    Thank you Sandeepan for the link that you shared.
    I am good with Step 1 & 2, but for step 3 I do not see all of the menu items, but instead I only have following in RankMath submenu

    1. Dashboard
    2. Status & Tools
    3. Help & Support

    And we are not using multi-site environment so step 4 does not apply.
    Before I try step 5 which is risky as we might lose data, I want to confirm if there is any other way forward or a fix for the step 3 issue?

    Hello,

    In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings to check the access for the Rank Math administrator if it was locked out in the Role Manager.

    Please install the WP phpMyadmin plugin and take a full backup of your database.

    Then, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
