After installing Pinterest for Woocommerce it says: “The following installed plugin(s) can potentially cause problems with Rich Pins: RankMath SEO.

    1. Do you know what kind of problem is caused by both plugins being active at same time? If it’s something small maybe I can ignore it. If I can’t use Rich Pins or they show wrong info that’s a bigger problem.

    2. If I disable RankMath will all my settings for Rankmath, and also all WordPress adjustments like Metadata text, keywords, and other things disappear? If they disappear or go to WP defaults after deactivation, will they come back when reactivated? (maybe I keep RankMath but deactivate it so Pinterest works, then reactivate it when I need to make changes to products).

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

#1 If both are activated at the same time, it may cause a plugin conflict. This is not guaranteed but there’s a chance.

#2 You won’t lose any of your data even Rank Math is deactivated, since all of your SEO settings and data are saved to your database. So you can simply deactivate and re-activate anytime you want. It won’t cause any harm.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

1a. Do you know any specific problems either with Rich Pins or other areas that have been caused by the plugin conflict for other users? Maybe you already have customer feedback.

I dont know where to look if there is a problem or not in my case.

1b. Right now on Pinterest Tag Manager it says I need to “add a Checkout event”, but I already have a checkout page so i dont know if that is part of the plugin conflict.

1c. It also says “too few of your Product IDs included…that match product IDs in Catalog” even though all my products have IDs automatically set in Woo, so maybe Pinterest doesnt recognize them.

    2. Also please, I saw people have been requesting that for product condition we can set a default option so we dont have to choose NEW for hundreds of product variations in Woo one by one. It already says Default, New, and Used so might as well let us decide what the default is. It is ok if we do it one product at a time but its not ok that we have to change it for every variation of size and color also.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for providing additional information.

It’s advisable to have just one plugin which caters to your needs. Though we haven’t seen any issues, we always recommend to use only 1 plugin.
