Hi, it seems that since I installed Rank Math my pages are set to Noindex, I just discovered this from google.
But in the Global settings of Rank Math it is set to Index.

Analyzing the code of the page, as in your video, the noindex and nofollow code is present… how do I make them index?

Single page settings do not appear to be present in the free version of Rank Math. I’m using Classic Editor + Elementor Pro.

Global Titles and Metas are set to index.

Wordpress reading settings, “Deter search engines” is not set.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

We’ve checked your homepage and the URL you have shared, but they are already set to index:

You should notice this line in the page’s source code where the index meta tag is added:
    meta name="robots" content="follow, index, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1, max-image-preview:large"

Here’s a guide you should follow to fix the noindex issue on your Google Search Console account:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Reinelle,
    Thank you for your answer.

Yes, you can now see it set for indexing because a few hours ago, searching and searching within your plugin, I noticed that in the menu bar I could click on noindex again and so I finally managed to remove noindex.

But I ask you, is that really true? is this the only way currently in the free version to set or remove the noindex? I hope not.
In the page settings I don’t see any “Advanced” metabox to do this, as your guide indicates, maybe it’s a mistake?

    Thank you

    Hello,

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math.

The Advanced tab is also available in the free version, and if it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode.

You can follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

    Hope that helps.
