Page Index and Sitemap Issues (Urgent)

    Hi, I just got a notification on Google Console about an index issue.
    Apparently the sitemap is not working. When I go to my sitmap index page, it shows”This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 2 at column 8: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.”

    I’m not sure how I can fix it, as I didn’t make any changes to the sitemap setting for a long time.

    Please help cus I really want the sitemap to work ASAP.

    We’ve checked your sitemap and we can see it is working properly without any issues. Please check the screenshots in the sensitive data section for your reference.

    If you’re still facing any issues with your sitemap on Google Search Console then please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Once done, clear your website cache and resubmit the /sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console.
