One redirect isn’t working and just keeps going back to the home page

    Hello,

    I have one redirect that I can not get to work correctly. It should redirect to a different page on y site, but keeps going back to the home page. I have the debug redirections tool turned on and it does not activate on this redirect so it must not be recognizing it correctly.

    I can’t figure out the issue. I tried clearing the server cache, incognito window, entering the redirect with a trailing slash and without and have now luck.

    This is the URL that I want to redirect: https://escapees.com/hop/ or https://escapees.com/hop/
    and I want it to go to this url: https://escapees.com/events/escapees-hops-head-out-program/

    This is how my redirect is set:
    Source URLs: hop/ (Exact)
    Ignore Case is off

    Destination URL: https://escapees.com/events/escapees-hops-head-out-program/

    Redirection Type: 301
    Maintenance Mode: Nothing selected
    Status: Active

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    This usually happens when there’s an attachment with the same slug/URL.

    For initial troubleshooting, please check if this option is enabled in Rank Math > General Settings > Links

    Attachments

    If so, try disabling the option and check again if the issue persists.

    If it was fixed upon disabling that option, then please check if you have an attachment with the same name as the page URL (/hop).

    You can reupload the media with a different file name or at least rename the attachment URL to a different slug to fix the redirect issue.

    Once done, re-enable the redirect attachment options again.
