I have an issue with khelohit.com

In this website, I have some posts, which are used to update daily, like cricket match time, cricket match toss, etc.

I am updating these posts on a daily basis, but these are not updated in Google. On Google Page it shows old data and on opening the post from Google or elsewhere the data is correctly updated

    What I do that…
after updating the content in the post, I have added the link to the updated post in the new post, so that Google crawler updates that old updated post with the new one. but this is also not working for updating content in old posts.

Please check the issue and resolve my query.

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your posts not updating in Google search results. It’s important to ensure that the updated content is reflected accurately in search results.

When updating your posts, it’s essential to follow best practices to ensure that Google’s crawlers recognize the changes. Here are a few steps you can take to help resolve this issue:

    1. Structured Data and Last Modified Time: Ensure that the dateModified property in the Date Schema and the `tag in your sitemap accurately reflect the last time you modified the content. You can use the [Rich Results Test tool](https://search.google.com/test/rich-results) to check thedatePublishedanddateModified` properties.

    2. Sitemap Settings: Check the last modified time of your post/page by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings from your WordPress dashboard. Click on the sitemap index URL and navigate to the page/post sitemap to verify the last modified time for your posts.

    3. Update the Post/Page: After making changes to your content, ensure that you click the Update button within WordPress to save the changes. This will prompt Google to recrawl and update the content in its index.

    4. Linking Updated Posts: While adding links to updated posts in new content can be helpful, it’s also important to ensure that the updated posts are being recrawled by Google.

If you’ve followed these steps and are still facing issues, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly from here, and we’re always here to help.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hi,

There are many URLs on the website http://www.khelohit.com that need to be updated by us on a daily basis, but Google is not taking that update and showing the old data in Google search. Here is the link to some articles which are not have updated data in Google search-

    https://khelohit.com/uae-vs-afg-toss-time-today

    https://khelohit.com/nz-vs-ban-toss-time-today

    https://khelohit.com/today-match-toss-time

For reference, if you see the first article, then it has the data of the 3rd T20 Cricket Match between UAE and Afghanistan Cricket Team, but if you see it on Google Search then it shows the data for the 1st T20 Cricket Match, which means the old data which was used for post-publication. After the post was published, we updated it 3 to 4 times but Google is showing only initial data.

Google Search Result for the 1st link is here- https://imgur.com/ETVpOtD

Please check the issue, it will be very helpful for us.

    Hello,

We checked your page on Google and looks like it has already been updated on SERPs.

Please note that it is completely normal to take time to crawl your pages by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URLs.

Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get updated on SERPs.

However, we have another Instant Indexing for Google plugin that you can use to get your website’s pages and content crawled immediately: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
