It seems that the problem is caused by the option to calculate SEO scores during the import process. This option can sometimes cause the import to get stuck or take too long. To avoid this, you can skip the import step during the setup wizard and do it later from a different page.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Go back to the setup wizard and click on the Skip button at the bottom of the import page.
- Complete the rest of the setup steps and finish the wizard.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Import & Export > Other Plugins.
- Under the Yoast SEO column, uncheck the Calculate SEO Scores option and click on the Import button. This will import your data from Yoast without calculating the scores.
- After the import is done, you can recalculate the scores by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Update SEO Scores and clicking on the Recalculate Scores button.
