    Hello, how could it be otherwise – I have a massive problem – whether it is due to RankMath, I can not say yet, but you will certainly help me with the clarification?!
    I’m currently creating a new site and have installed Rankmath in its free form for the time being, as I’m not familiar with it yet.
    The problem is that my site, including all subpages, is not being indexed by Google Search Console. The reason given is: Excluded by “noindex” tag.
    The page was officially released by me. I have not used a “noindex tag”, neither on the main page nor on all subpages. In fact, I have never used such a tag.
    I have looked at the source code of all pages. Noindex is not to be found there.

    <title>Showkoo travel trolley – hard shell travel suitcase</title>
    <meta name=”description” content=”Showkoo travel trolley – 3 sizes, 4 colors, TSA lock, 4 360° double wheels, robust, scratch-resistant, also as hand luggage, 2J warranty and much more.”/>
    <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, index, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1, max-image-preview:large”/>
    <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://trolleyscout.de/showkoo-reisetrolley/&#8221; />

    I then called up the page with Robots txt and received the following message

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Sitemap: https://trolleyscout.de/sitemap_index.xml

    I can’t do much with it because I don’t have anything set up there.
    I would need some help now!
    Best regards Hans

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your site not being indexed by Google Search Console due to the “noindex” tag. Thank you for providing detailed information about your setup.

    Based on the information you shared, it seems like you have checked the source code of your pages and confirmed that there is no “noindex” tag present. However, the Robots.txt file you shared does not contain any directives that would cause the pages to be excluded from indexing.

    To further troubleshoot and resolve this issue, I recommend checking the following:

    1. WordPress Global Settings: Ensure that the Discourage Search engines… option is not enabled at WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Reading. Sometimes developers enable this option during the development process and forget to disable it before publishing.

    2. Rank Math Settings: Check the Rank Math settings at WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta to ensure that there are no global settings affecting indexing.

    3. Robots.txt File: Even though your Robots.txt file seems fine, you can verify it using the Robots.txt editor in Rank Math at WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit Robots.txt to ensure there are no rules blocking indexing.

    If after checking these settings, the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for reaching out, and we are here to help you resolve this matter.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We checked your page and we can see it is properly set to index:

    In this case, please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache, and revalidate the issues on your Google Search Console. Once done, give Google some time to recrawl your site.

    Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello Rakibuzzaman Siam, before I contact any support, I always try to solve the problem myself. I could not find any error even after the most intensive search. I also checked all the pages in the source code and “Noindex” was nowhere to be found, so everything was OK.

    Nevertheless, I got this message yesterday:
    Search Console has detected that some pages on your site are not being indexed for the following new reason:
    Excluded by “noindex” tag
    If this reason is not intentional on your part, we recommend that you fix the associated problem so that pages are indexed and appear on Google.

    I have now re-entered the sitemap and restarted the main URL for verification.
    I will continue to monitor the Search Console and if there are any further issues, I will get back to you.
    Thanks for the effort…. Hans

    Hello,

    Sure thing. If you experience the issue again – please do let us know.

    Regards
