No index Specific attachment types

    Hello there,
    I am looking to No index image attachment mime type alone, but want to index audio or other mime types.
    Is there any function to do that?

    I only want to no-index image attachment links and at the same time index other mime types like audio,zip,pdf,etc…

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    In this case, you can set the media attachments to index in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Attachments > Media Robots Meta.

    Then, add this filter to your site to noindex the image attachments only:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/robots', function( $robots ) {
	if( wp_attachment_is_image() ) {
		$robots['index'] = 'noindex';
		$robots['follow'] = 'nofollow';
	}
	return $robots;
});
