New Version Marking Home Page No Index No Follow using Divi Extra Them

    Upgraded today to the new 1.25 version of the plugin and had two major problems the first is that our homepage is being marked as no index, no follow and the title is coming back as 404. The site is http://www.umami.site.

    We’re running the Extra Theme from Elegant Themes. Not sure when this error was introduced. I tried 1.24.1 and had the same problem. It wasn’t there last time I checked a few weeks ago. I tried to find a solution in the forum but couldn’t find anything that made sense.

    Obviously, this is a pretty big deal if crawler bots stop crawling the site because they think they’re being told it’s no Index, no follow.

    The second issue was that we were using your Robots.txt generator. With this upgrade that stopped working for our site and was coming up as a 404 page. I fixed this by uploading a new robots.txt. file to the site.

    Please let me know how to fix it or if there’s a previous version I can roll back to where this will work.

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    We were able to find a workaround to the home page issue by creating a static page and using our homepage template.

    It would be nice if the plugin worked better with Divi and Extra.
