Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing with your post sitemap in Google Search Console. To address the issue of invalid URLs in your sitemap, you can follow these steps:
-
Ensure that your sitemap is correctly configured by validating it using the Validate XML Sitemap tool. If it returns a success message, then your sitemap is properly configured.
-
Check if your posts are set to index by heading over to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and enabling the Index checkbox in the Robots Meta settings.
-
If you’re still encountering issues, you may need to remove custom canonicals from your posts to ensure they appear in the sitemap.
If you’ve already tried these steps, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Thank you for reaching out, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.
Best regards.

Thanks. I did numbers 1 and 2. And think I did number 3. I am still having the issue.
Can you provide more guidance on #3?

Hello,
We have seen this type of issue before with Divi. It happens when you are using the Blurb feature in Divi and using a background image in the Blurb.
Users have already reported this to Divi but we suggest you notify them as well to move the issue to priority. You can ask them if they have a solution where these background images of blurbs are not included in the sitemaps.
The functionality of Rank Math being able to see Divi images and adding them to the sitemap was added by the Divi team and that is why it is recommended that you contact them directly.
However, to fix the issue temporarily, you can disable the Images in the Sitemap option in Rank Math sitemap settings.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hi,
Thank you for your help. I will reach out to them.
Is it related to the images in general for divi? I am asking because I rarely use the blurb feature on my site and it seems to be an issue with every single image.
Thanks!
Patrina
Hello,
We’ve only seen the issue with the Blurb feature of Divi. You can also check the source code of your page sitemap to confirm from which page the invalid image URLs are coming.
If you’re not sure, you can share your sitemap URL with us so that we can check this further for you.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
We’ve checked your sitemap, and it seems that you have disabled the images in the settings.
While that fixes the issue, we are also unable to see the affected images.
However, if you want to test it, you can enable it again and look for it in the source code of your sitemap.
Here’s the link to view it:

Hope that helps.
Thanks.
What are the next steps after identifying the affected images?
Thanks again,
Patrina
Hello,
Since the images come from the Divi Blurb feature, we don’t have any direct access to those images. You can identify the affected page from where the image URLs are coming.
Once done, you can remove the Blurb feature from this page to resolve the issue.
For a permanent solution, we suggest you get in touch with Divi support.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
