My Main sitemap and category sitemap and landing pages sitemap aren’t showing.

    I’ll try every basic instruction your bot robot provided but still it’s not working. I use validate xml sitemap to check my website and it shows like this:-Incorrect http header content-type: “text/html; charset=UTF-8” (expected: “application/xml”)
    it is showing this error while validating xml sitemap of main and category sitemap and landing pages sitemap

    1. Flush Permalinks:

      • Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks.
      • Click the Save Changes button without making any changes to flush the permalinks.

    2. Flush Sitemap Settings:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings in your WordPress admin area.
      • Change the value in the Links Per Sitemap field. If it is 200, change it to 201 or any other number.
      • If the Links Per Sitemap option is unavailable, ensure you are in Advanced Mode in Rank Math.
      • Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    3. Apply the following filter code to your site.

    
    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

    This error occurs when your sitemap is redirecting to another page or as in your case does not exist (and serves the 404 page).

    From our investigation, your homepage is showing a “Nothing found” error, which means that you do not have any content, posts or pages. This is the reason your sitemap is not working because Rank Math cannot generate a sitemap when there is no content to populate it with.

    When you add content, posts or pages, please follow the steps we shared earlier to regenerate the Rank Math sitemap again.
