Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing login issues after installing Rank Math. If you are being redirected to a 404 error page when trying to log in, it might be related to permissions or URL settings.
To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:
-
Check WordPress Settings for URL Mismatch:
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General.
- Ensure that the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) fields have the same URL. If there is any discrepancy, set your preferred version in both fields and save your changes.
-
Check If You’re Using Admin Account:
- Make sure you are using an admin account to access Rank Math settings. Admin accounts have all user capabilities by default.
If the issue persists after checking these settings, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out to us!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If the issue is happening after installing the Rank Math plugin, please access your FTP or your CPanel’s File Manager, locate your website’s root directory, navigate to wp-content > plugins, and delete the folder
seo-by-rank-math
and see if you’re able to access your site again or not.If you’re able to access your site again then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
