Hi,
I am in the sections Titles & Meta > Local SEO
I am configuring RankMath for a client’s website that I will launch in 2 days and lose access to afterwards.I read the following info by RankMath:
Before configuring the settings here, we highly recommend that you claim your website in Google My Business.
Before setting local SEO in Rank Math, you must have a verified business in GMB or Google Business ProfileI don’t have the time to do this and I am not sure the client wants to do this herself afterwards. She hasn’t verified her business in GMB or Google Business Profile. She said she wants to advertise on Google without having to do any SEO settings herself.
So my question is: How do I now change my settings at the Setup Wizard that selected the website as local business? I chose the category “Small Business”. Do I have to go through the Setup Wizard again (do I lose all my previous settings then?) or can this be changed directly in another section easier?
Can I change it to something generic such as “Organisation”? Or do you recommend anything else? The business is “Dog Training”.
If I do change it, can this be changed again afterwards by the client to “Local Business” if she wants to?
If this happens, would there be any implications or penalties for Google Search Results? Thanks
Mel
