My Keywords aren’t showing in RankMath. I’ve tried to fix it manually but that doesn’t work. What else can I try?
Also, why is my URL unknown to Google?

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with your keywords not showing in Rank Math SEO Business and your URL being unknown to Google.

To troubleshoot the keyword visibility concern in Rank Math, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check if Google Search Console is reporting any data for the keywords you’ve added. You can do this by heading over to Google Search Console, clicking on Performance, filtering by query, and entering the keyword to see if any data is reported.
    2. Ensure that your website is indexed by Google. If your URL is unknown to Google, it might not be indexed. You can submit a manual indexing request as recommended in our knowledge base article on Google Indexing.

If you have already tried these steps and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for reaching out, and we appreciate your patience while we resolve this issue for you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The “URL is unknown to Google” indicates that Google has not discovered this URL before and has not crawled it yet. You can manually submit the URLs using the GSC URL inspection tool and see if that works for you: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?hl=en

To solve the issue with the Keyword not showing in your analytics, you need to fetch fresh data from Google. This is a simple process that you can do by following the steps below:

Make sure you have the latest version of the Rank Math plugin installed on your site. You can check the latest version here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Tools & Status > Database Tools and click the Rebuild Index button. This is the first process before you will update the data manually unlike what was suggested by the bot.

    2. After that, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, click the Delete Data button and then click the Update Data Manually

    3. This will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.

    4. Once the process is complete. Please re-check the Analytics page and all the data should be showing up correctly.

Following the above steps should fix the issue.

However, if it does not, please check if there is a pending Scheduled Action by heading over to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending or you can try visiting the following URL:

    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

Then Run the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch scheduled action and wait for the data fetch to complete.

This is how it should look like:

Once done, please allow Rank Math a while to fetch data from Google and you should be able to see the updated data.

You might see other actions that are scheduled to RUN as well, it is quite normal and you don’t have to worry.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.
