    Hello,

I have been using your plugin for my WordPress website and advocating your plugin to others. But it seems like the plugin is not working. As the the meta description I have inputed is not showing, it takes random parts from my website and displays on google search. Also it does not show any icon next to my search results in both google and bing.
I tried everything I can from youtube to this article https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-working-meta-description/ but nothing has changed. Once I start making blogs I wanted to go premium but unless the basics are working I am not confident in doing so. Please help and I am looking forward to making things work.
    My website: adswithross.com
Here is what it shows which is incorrect: https://www.heymeta.com/url/adswithross.com
It should say: Digital marketing agency. Getting results, scaling and hitting KPIs for our clients. Served 50+ global brands and consulted 30+ digital agencies.
And even the image which I uploaded based on the correct parameters is looking wrong.

  • Hello,

I apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with the meta description and icon display on Google and Bing search results for your website adswithross.com.

To address the issue with the meta description not showing correctly and the missing icon, there could be a few reasons causing this behavior. One common reason is that search engines like Google sometimes choose to display content from the page that they find more relevant to the search query, rather than the meta description provided.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Meta Description: Ensure that the meta description you have set in your Rank Math plugin is relevant, unique, and within the recommended character limits. You can refer to this guide on how to set up meta descriptions.

    2. Check Google Cache: Verify when Google last updated its cache for your page to see if it reflects the changes you made. You can check this by following the steps mentioned in this guide: Check Google Cache.

    3. Ensure Schema Settings: Make sure your schema settings are valid as they can impact how search engines display your content.

If after following these steps, the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your support in using Rank Math on your website. We are here to help you resolve this issue and ensure your website’s SEO elements are displayed correctly in search results.

Looking forward to helping you resolve this matter promptly.

    Hello,

Upon checking your site, you have a duplicate meta description tag in your page’s source code: view-source:https://adswithross.com/

You can visit that link and search for meta name=”description” where you can see the duplicate in the middle part.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), the duplicate meta tag is coming from one of your plugins or active theme.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
