    Hello Rank Math Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out because I’ve encountered an issue with the snippet title updates I made using the Rank Math plugin on my WordPress site. Even after making the changes and waiting for a reasonable amount of time, Google’s search results are still displaying the old title.

    Here are some details:

    Website URL: concretingmildura.com
    Page with Issue: concretingmildura.com
    Previous Title: Concreting Mildura
Updated Title in Rank Math: Concreting Mildura, Concrete Contractors, Concreters Mildura

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. If you require any further details or access, please let me know, and I will provide it promptly.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance on this issue.

    Warm regards,
    Raphael

Thanks for your reply. I have cleared my browser cache in three different browsers and unfortunately, it’s still appearing with my old title of “Concreting Mildura” as the title.

When I search on mobile however, it appears with the latest title.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting back to us again. We understand your frustration with the Google snippets issue.

Sometimes, Google doesn’t show the exact meta title that you set for your page. Instead, it picks some text from your page content that it thinks is more relevant to the user’s search query. This can vary depending on the user. As shown on the screenshot I previously shared, when you use the site: operator to check your page, Google usually shows the correct meta title that you set with Rank Math. This means that Google knows what your meta title is, but it chooses to show something else when you search normally.

For example, when I searched for “Concreting Mildura”, I saw the correct meta title that you have set for your website. Here’s a screenshot of what I saw:

But when you searched for the same thing, you saw a different meta title. This is because Google’s algorithm decided to show you something else based on your search history, location, or other factors.

Unfortunately, we have no control over this behavior. Google’s algorithms decide what to show to each user, and they can change it anytime. You can read more about why Google does this and how to optimize your meta titles/descriptions here:

We hope this clears up the confusion. Thank you for choosing Rank Math!

Thanks so much for looking into this and sending the screenshots of what’s appearing in your search. That helped me understand what’s happening.
