    Hello RankMath Support Team,

First of all, I would like to express my appreciation for your product. It has been very helpful in optimizing my website. However, I am currently facing an issue and I would like to seek your assistance.

I have scheduled my product for auto-pinging using the “indexnow” feature in RankMath’s instant indexing. Unfortunately, when the product is pinged, only the “?p=” portion of the URL is returned, instead of the full URL. As a result, Google Search Console detects the page as having a redirect, which is not desirable.

I would like to request your advice on how to have the full URL of the product returned during auto-submission, similar to how scheduled posts work. I have attached some images for reference.

    Thank you for your assistance.

  • Hello,

Thank you for your query, and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Rank Math’s Instant Indexing allows you to submit your URLs to IndexNow-enabled search engines.

It helps you to index your website and its content instantly by submitting URLs to Bing and Yandex.

For Google you can use their new indexing API to get Google to crawl your website instantly.

You can look at how to use Google’s new indexing API to get your website’s pages and content crawled immediately rather than waiting :

Returning to the issue regarding your product pages indexed with only the “?p=” portion of the URL rather than the full URL.

Your WooCommerce product pages are indexed with query parameters, which is not the most SEO-friendly format.

To resolve this, enable permalinks in WordPress. Go to your WordPress dashboard > “Settings” > “Permalinks.

Choose an SEO-friendly URL structure for your product pages (e.g., “Post name” or “Custom Structure.” )

Once done, set up 301 redirects from old URLs to the new URL and flush the sitemap cache.

Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your assistance. However, I have already set a custom base for my product permalinks as “product/”. When the products are not in scheduler mode, the permalink structure works as expected. However, for some products that are in scheduler mode, the permalink structure is submitted as “p?=id_product”.

    Hello,

Thank you for providing additional information.

I tested in my test environment and it worked fine. Assuming you’re using latest version of plugins / theme, are you using ay custom permalink plugin?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you
