instant index not working

I checked the API key and it’s valid.
I manually entered the urls – and they still were not on google.

    URL is not on Google
This page is not indexed. Pages that aren’t indexed can’t be served on Google. See the details below to learn why it wasn’t indexed. Learn more

When I went to the search console and added the URLs, google said they weren’t indexed 24 hours later. These are not new pages, but a new host.

I was under the impression from the documentation that Instant index would index any new page or blog on the site

Under “history” it says they were requested many times over the last 24 hours, but when I went to google search console, it says it was not on google and not indexed.

    that am I missing?

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the Instant Indexing feature. It’s understandable that you’re frustrated, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

It seems like you’ve already taken the necessary steps by checking the API key and manually entering the URLs. However, it’s concerning that the pages are still not showing up on Google even after being requested multiple times through Instant Indexing.

Given that these are not new pages but a new host, it’s possible that there might be some additional configurations required due to the change in hosting.

I recommend checking if there are any settings specific to the new hosting environment that could be affecting the indexing process. Additionally, it might be helpful to verify if there are any server-side issues that could be preventing Google from indexing the pages.

If you’ve already checked these aspects and are still facing issues, I’d suggest assigning this ticket to a human agent who can further investigate the matter and provide you with a more detailed solution.

You can use the available buttons to assign the ticket to a human agent who will assist you in resolving this issue. Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It looks like it has to be manually selected. It is automated or manual once configured?

    Hello,

Yes, you’ll need to manually configure the IndexNow Module, but after this, your post, pages and post-type URLs are automatically submitted to the IndexNow API. Please follow this guide to configure the IndexNow API: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-indexnow/#automatic-url-submission

Rank Math also offer a few different options to submit your URLs manually. Here is a guide to learn more about this: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-indexnow/#submit-urls-batch

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
