How do I tell if my site and pages are indexed
-
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support with your queries, we will attempt to answer them adequately.
The quickest and easiest way to check if a website or an individual webpage has been indexed is to use the search operator
site:
in Google Search. Just put the URL of your webpage into the Google search box with the site: in front of it.For example, to check if a specific page has been indexed, you can enter:
site:https://yourdomain.com/
If it returns the webpage in the search results, it is indexed. If you get nothing back, it is not indexed.
See the image below for the site:https://https://rankmath.com/
Another way to check for indexed pages is to use Google Search Console.
If you have not done so already, you will need to add and verify your website/property in the Search Console.
Once you have done that, you will have access to various reports and statistics available inside Search Console.
You can read more about that here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?hl=en
Hope this helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Well I tried checking in Google search console and there was not property found. Everything is blurry and there is no option to manually submit my index map. Also it’s a new site, and I set up rank math on Monday, is it too early to tell if everything was successful?
Sorry I meant site map, not index map
Hello,
Rank Math has the option to create property and verify your website on Google Search Console both automatically and manually. To connect your site to Google automatically, kindly follow the steps in this KB article: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#automatically-verify-in-gsc.
Then you can follow the steps in this guide to successfully submit your sitemap to Google: https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/
Hope this helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.
My question was, I did all this on monday, how can I ensure it was succesfull? Google Search Console doesn’t give me the option to manually input the site map link. It’s blurry
Hello,
If you’re still unable to submit your sitemaps, then you must have not yet verified your website on your Google Search Console account.
Please follow the steps to add the URL prefix version of your site:

Thank you.
