Hey guys, thanks for your help.
From the way the Title Tag is being shown in the live SERP, I can tell that it is not Google that is choosing a different title tag, but rather there is an issue with the way it’s being collected/displayed on Rank Math SEO.
Here is a link to a YouTube video showing the issue: http://youtu.be/DpvIldrUfHQ?hd=1

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you are facing with the Title Tag being displayed incorrectly in the live SERP. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Based on the information you provided, it seems like there might be an issue with how the Title Tag is collected or displayed in Rank Math SEO. To address this concern, we recommend checking the following:

Thank you for contacting support.
If we check the actual
title
meta in the source code we can see that our plugin is outputting the same exact data you put in the snippet editor. So, this would indicate clearly that is Google that is changing the title and that’s pretty common, especially since you are trying to pass the idea that you are the very best solution for doors in that specific location.
The algorithm usually discards situations like that because you are making claims that cannot be fully supported in the eyes of the algorithm and it would be influencing the users, so titles with such statements will only appear for very well-known websites, such as big companies and prominent blogs.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thanks so much for your reply Miguel, and I appreciate what you said, so I did my due diligence and went to see evidence of what you said here.
As I searched around, more and more of the evidence seems to point away from what you said, and more towards what I’m saying, and I made another video on YouTube to show that. It doesn’t at all look like Google is rewriting my title tag, it simply looks like characters or strings are missing.
I can understand your thought process, and I 100% believe that Google would rewrite a Title tag based on unverifiable claims, but in this scenario, all that is dropped is the “#” symbol but the numerical “1” is still oddly left behind, which looks more like a glitch than a purposeful rewrite, and the company name is removed which wouldn’t lend any credence to a false claim, so it wouldn’t make sense that Google would remove that to assist with an unverifiable claim, especially paired with the numerical “1” being left behind.
On top of all of that, we have other pages on the same website that are successfully using the same technique I’m trying, and we have an entire other website also doing the same thing correctly, though they are doing it on Yoast SEO and not Rank Math. I don’t want to go back to Yoast, I’d much rather stay with Rank Math.

Hello,
If you check the cached version that Google has for an example page where it’s stripping the
#
from the title you’ll notice that the version Google has on cache includes the correct title that is being passed by Rank Math but the actual title on SERPs gets rewritten.
Our plugin is passing the correct data in the meta tags but Google is simply ignoring it and changing it on the Search Results and that is not something that can be changed.
At the end of the day, we have only control over the data that is passed to Google and that as can be seen on the screenshot is correct.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
