These images are not considered as your own images by Google and they cannot be indexed for your domain.
Therefore, you can ignore the number of images displayed on the sitemap for pages that have external images. The number of images is just an indication for search engines to help them crawl and index your images. It does not affect your SEO or ranking.
If you want to have more control over your images and have them indexed for your domain, you can contact Content at Scale and ask them if they have a way to host the images on your website directly.
