Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with Rank Math.
We need some more information from you to understand your issue better. Are you talking about the verification process of Google Search Console, where you have to add your verification HTML code or ID to Rank Math > General Settings > Webmaster Tools? Or are you talking about the integration of Google Search Console with Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics > Search Console?
Please let us know which one you’re having a problem with and share some screenshots if possible. This will help us diagnose the issue faster and provide you with a solution. To share screenshots, please upload them to imgur.com/upload and share the URL with us here.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math! We hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for getting back to us.
You can share a screenshot by uploading the images to Imgur.com/upload and sharing the image link with us here – that way, we can see what you’re referring to.
In any case, please make sure you have the latest version of the Rank Math plugin installed on your site. You can check the latest version here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/
Once you have updated the plugin, please follow these steps to reconnect Rank Math with your Google account and grant all the necessary permissions:
- First of all, check to make sure that you have a verified Google Search Console and Google Analytics properties, if not follow the attached link to create one. If you already have verified properties and you’re still unable to connect them – then follow these steps
- Go to your Google account settings and click on Security.
- Scroll down to the section called Third-party apps with account access and click on Manage third-party access.
- Find Rank Math in the list of apps and click on it.
- Click on Remove access and confirm your action.
- Go back to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics.
- Click on Deauthorize Account and then click on Authorize again.
- Follow the instructions to sign in with your Google account and allow Rank Math to access your data.

what is FTP
Hello, I think its something with my analytics settings. I changed the analytics before hand and than I used the setup wizard. But that should not have any effect right?
Hello,
The login credentials you have shared seem not working on your WordPress site.
Meanwhile, the FTP login credentials are used to log in to your website files instead of your hosting panel. If you’re unsure about that, you can get in touch with your web host so they can set it up for you.
Regarding the Analytics option, it seems that the Install Analytics code is disabled on your site from your screenshot.
I’ve also tested your website with Google Tag Assistant and wasn’t able to find the Google Analytics code within your website.
https://tagassistant.google.com/To connect your website to Google Services, please follow these steps:
Go to your WP dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics > Search console > Disconnect > Connect to Google Services and provide all of the requested permissions.
Now from the drop-down, select your website in Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
If you are not using any other Analytics plugin, enable the option “Install analytics code”. Then, once all of these steps have been completed, click on Save Changes.
Looking forward to helping you.
I think it works now! Thank you very much.
