  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your Search Console displaying data from your old website instead of the new one, even though you have verified all the steps and your pages are fully indexed. This situation can be frustrating, but we can help you troubleshoot this.

One potential reason for this issue could be content duplication. Google might be penalizing your website due to duplicate content, making it difficult for the new pages to be indexed correctly. To address this, you should check if there is any duplication on the pages you’re trying to index. If you find any duplicate content, you can add a canonical URL from these duplicate pages pointing to the original content you want to index.

Here is an example of how to add a canonical URL from duplicate pages:

    Canonical URL

Additionally, if your website is fairly new (less than a few months old), it’s normal for some pages to be marked as “discovered – currently not indexed.” In this case, it might take Google some time to find and index all the pages on your site. Patience is key in such situations.

If you suspect that your website has been penalized by Google, it’s essential to address the underlying issues causing the penalty before Google indexes your site. You can check if your website has been penalized by searching for it on Google. If you don’t see your website in the search results, it’s likely penalized.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue with your Search Console data. If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to let us know by replying to this ticket.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

You can use the URL inspection tool of your GSC account to check the URL and view the referring page to make sure from where it is coming.

Once you know the referring page, you can unlink or remove it so Google won’t discover it again.

Regarding your robots.txt issue, please share a screenshot of the error you’re getting so that we can check the issue further for you. You can use any image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com/upload to share the screenshot with us.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
