Check if Your Sitemap is Accessible: Use the httpstatus.io tool to check the accessibility of your sitemap URL. Make sure there are no issues preventing Googlebot from accessing your sitemap.

Exclude Sitemaps From Caching: If your sitemap is being cached, exclude it from caching. You can refer to our tutorial on how to exclude Sitemaps from caching.

Submit the Correct Sitemap: Ensure you have submitted the correct sitemap. You should submit sitemap_index.xml
and ensure that all inner sitemaps, like post-sitemap.xml, are showing up in Google Search Console when clicking on sitemap_index.xml

Could you please share your sitemap URL with us so that we can check the issue further for you?
Meanwhile, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you.
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

Once done, clear your website cache, remove all the submitted sitemap, and resubmit only the /sitemap_index.xml
in the Search Console.
