HTML sitemap author page exclusion

    Hi

    I build custom author pages.

    And I want to disable the author bio page links that appear in the sitemap for the ones I don’t have a dedicated author bio page on. I have already excluded the users from under “Authors” in RankMath. But guess that only applies to the XML sitemap? Can you please help me exclude them from the HTML sitemap as well. Thank you 🙂

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    We’ve tested the Exclude Users option in Sitemap settings, but it seems to be working fine (even in HTML sitemap).

    For initial troubleshooting, please ensure that you’re using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin on your site: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/

    If the issue still persists, please try to clear Rank Math’s transient. Head over to your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Transients:

    Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again the permalinks
