How to update title and meta description on static homepage

    Hello. We would like to update the title and meta description for our Home Page. However, we have a static homepage, so RankMath does not appear to allow us to update a static homepage. Is there any way around this? We have the Single Page Title and Single Page Description set up to pull from the site, but the information that is being automatically pulled into the description really is not sufficient. It is pulling an excerpt, but our homepage has little text on it. We would like to be able to add our own content to the meta description for the homepage. Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Unfortunately the screenshots you have shared dont seem to load for me.
    To edit the page meta data, plead head over to wordpress pages and click to edit the page you have set as your homepage. You should be able to change the related meta data on the page. If the SEO metabox is not showing, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Hello. We already know it is how our WordPress is set up. We have a static HomePage. We want to know if there is a way to update the SEO using RankMath when we have a static HomePage. This is the message we see when we click on RankMath/Titles & Meta/Homepage…”Static page is set as the front page (WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading). To add SEO title, description, and meta for the homepage, please click here: Edit Page: Home” We do not want to change our static Homepage, so can we somehow edit the SEO using RankMath? We would like to be able to edit it beyond using the default variables. Right now, we have the site description set to %excerpt%, but because we don’t have a lot of text on that page, we want to create a custom description just for the Homepage.
