Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to Rank Math support. We’re sorry for any trouble you’re having.
We want to make sure we understand your request correctly. Are you trying to change the way your URL looks in the search results? Specifically, are you talking about the part below the site name and above the page name (1) or the separator in the page name itself (2)? Here is a screenshot to show you what we mean: https://i.rankmath.com/i/UvBLsy
If you want to change the separator in your page name (2), you can do that easily with Rank Math. Just go to WordPress > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta > Separator Character and choose the separator you want or enter a custom one.
But if you want to change the URL breadcrumbs that appears below the site name and above the page name in Google (1), that’s not something that Rank Math or any SEO plugin can do. That’s because Google decides how to display your URL in the search results, and since 2019 it usually uses a breadcrumb format with > as the separators. If you’re not seeing the URL breadcrumbs for your URL, it might be due to a temporary glitch or one of the many tests that Google runs.
We hope this clears up your confusion. If you have any other questions or issues, please let us know. We’re always happy to help.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math!
I was looking for answer to the first question (1), now it is clear to me. Thank you for your time and concern.
