It must not be saving it because I have set it up a number of times. I am very confused.

Hi. Cant get this resolved. I still show on google anaylitics my old domain.Wasted too much time. I will be deleting rankmath plug in. Free version does not work like your tutorials say it does.

However, if you change your mind and continue using Rank Math again, please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www.
Also, please ensure that you have verified your email/account as the owner of the property. Go to your Google Search Console > Settings > Users and permissions
Once done, try reconnecting it on your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab
