  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Rank Math does not have the option to create an RSS Feed Sitemap. The generated sitemaps from Rank Math are in XML format and use to submit to Webmaster tools like Google Search Console.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

No, I want to create a separate sitemap for my all feed links, can you please guide how can I do this?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. We’re happy to help you with your query.

If you want to create a separate sitemap for your feed links, you can use the custom sitemap feature of Rank Math. This feature allows you to add any URLs that are not included in the default sitemaps generated by Rank Math.

To create a custom sitemap, you need to follow these steps:

    1. Create a new file in your child theme folder and name it custom-sitemap.php. You can use the Theme File Editor in WordPress Dashboard > Appearance or Tools to do this.
    2. Add a code snippet provided in the linked article to the custom-sitemap.php file. This code will create a new sitemap provider class that handles the custom sitemap type.
    3. Replace the example.com URLs in the code with the feed links that you want to include in the sitemap.
    4. Add another code snippet provided in the same article to the functions.php file of your child theme. This code will register the new sitemap provider and make it available in Rank Math.
    5. Once done, you can access your custom sitemap at https://yourdomainname/custom-sitemap.xml and submit it to Google and other search engines.

You can find more details and examples in this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/custom-sitemaps/

I hope this helps you create a separate sitemap for your feed links. If you have any further questions or issues, please let us know and we’ll be glad to assist you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math!

Please confirm one thing, If I create a custom sitemap, will my https://c2o.net/sitemap.xml will work as well or only my custom sitemap will work?

    Hello,

After creating the custom sitemap, the old sitemaps including the primary sitemap should still work as expected.

    Hope that clarifies any doubt.

    Thank you.

In my case it is not working https://revamp.c2odev.com/sitemap.xml

    Hello,

In this case, please follow the steps below:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
