Hello,
Thank you for sharing your case study regarding the redirection of your website’s home page. To address your concerns and find the best solution for your situation, here are some recommendations:
-
Changing Redirection from 301 to 200:
-
Canonicalization and Alternate URLs:
- You can set the canonical tag on the /tn/ page to point to the home page URL. This will help search engines understand the preferred version of the page.
- Additionally, you can use alternate tags to specify the relationship between the /tn/ page and the home page. This can help search engines understand the connection between these pages.
-
Hreflang Implementation:
- If you plan to target different demographics in the future, implementing hreflang tags can help indicate to search engines which language or region-specific version of a page should be served to users in different locations.
-
Conversion of Other URLs:
- Depending on your website structure and SEO strategy, you may need to evaluate if other URLs need to be converted or updated based on the changes you are making to the home page redirection.
-
Other Options:
- Consider monitoring the impact of these changes on your website’s SEO performance and user experience.
- Regularly check Google Search Console for any crawl errors or issues related to these changes.
- If you have specific requirements or constraints, feel free to share more details so we can provide tailored recommendations.
If you encounter any challenges during the implementation of these suggestions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to help!
Best regards.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.
Can you please confirm if the current redirection is set to the Rank Math plugin? If so, you can disable this from the Rank Math > Redirection and then clear your website cache.
However, if the redirection is not set on the Rank Math, you can check your .htaccess
file and if you find the redirection, please remove this.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
