Hi,
I’m preparing a WordPress site for a Danish client – and I have a problem with the Danish letter Æ, Ø and Å and Rank Math’s SEO-analyzing.
When the Danish letters Æ, Ø and Å are part of the title, WordPress automatically changes these letters in the URL: Æ=ae – Ø=oe – Å=a
So that’s fine!BUT Rank Math SEO does not recognize this, when the focus keyword also contains a word with the three Danish letters. So we will get the message “Focus Keyword not found in the URL”.
That will leads the users of the website to try and fix this – and they shouldn’t.EXAMPLE:
Title: Børnelitteratur i forskellige æstetiske dragter
URL: /boernelitteratur-i-forskellige-aestetiske-dragter
Focus keyword: børnelitteraturRank Math does not recognize “børnelitteratur” as part of the URL.
Is there any way I can change the settings of the analyzer? So that this won’t affect the SEO results shown for the WordPress-user? (in terms of search engines everything should be fine)
Best,
Christian
