Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please note that the 404 Monitor in Rank Math only logs the URLs that return a 404 error. Even if you disable the 404 monitor, the 404 errors will be the same.
However, if you still want to disable that, please head over to your WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard > Help, and from there disable the 404 Monitor module:

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
the solution didn’t work. this is how this redirect is working, every time I request a page like https//www.competitionclean.com/cont the user will be redirected to the contact us page, or to the nearest page that has the closest terms. Not sure if you can get me. This issue is affecting our ranking as google has marked the majority of our important pages as having coverage problems due to redirects. After my investigation as a developer, I realized the issue was being caused by the 404 monitor. Even after turning off the above switch, it didn’t work, we are going to try re-installing the plugin again, if it doesn’t work we shall opt Yoast SEO but that wasn’t our wish. We love all the features of the rank math apart from 404 monitor
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
The redirect is not being handled by Rank Math, but instead, it is coming from the WordPress native function to auto-complete similar URLs on your site

You can use this tool to check it as well: https://httpstatus.io/
To fix this, you may follow the steps in any of the guides below to stop WordPress auto-correcting the URL and return a 404 instead:
