Google show wrong snippets and site title

    Hello!
I did all the on-page SEO settings with snippets and the correct site name, which is Olga’s Food, not Olga’s food subdomain, it used to be Olga’s food subdomain, but I changed it. However, the search results still show some weird snippets descriptions and wrong site name. How can I fix it, please? I attached two images of RankMath settings on the website and how I want it to appear in Google search and actual Google search result.

    Thank you,
    With Kindest Regards,
    Olga

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked your website on Google with the site operator and I can see that Google is showing the correct meta title for your site but it has changed the meta description for your website:

Nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta description or no description for your search query result. Google may skip the custom meta data you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.

You can follow this URL for details on this issue:

Here’s an article you can also check for reference:

However, it seems your website is affected by the famous Japanese keyword hack, and you should take immediate actions to fix it:

Please check the URL below and follow the troubleshooting steps to take immediate action:

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello!
    Thank you for your reply,
I’m aware of Jap hack, it’s fixed already. Now I want Google to index me correctly. If you scroll among search results there’s also a shop page in search results and it says “subdomain”. I want to remove “subdomain” from the site title, I don’t have it in my titles.

    Hello,

    I’ve checked the shop page, and the title tag is already Olga’s Food. You can also verify that using these tools;
    https://heymeta.com
    https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/

Please note that Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better. In this case, the best you can do is optimize your meta title and description to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

You can refer to this guide as well:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
