Google Search Console unable to fetch sitemap generated by rankmath

its been a week since i’ve submitted the sitemap generated by rankmath. the sitemap submission status is stuck at “couldn’t fetch”. i’ve tried removing cache, renaming sitemap file, disabling cloudflare. nothing seems to work.

it would be really helpful if i could get any help on this.

The message Couldn't fetch means that the sitemap has not been crawled yet, it doesn’t mean that it’s not possible to crawl.
