    Hi
I made a site for a client http://www.woodinfinity.com I add it to Google Search Console, I request for indexing, I added sitemap and for more than 2 months Google hasn’t crawled and index the page. I check the history of the domain and there’s no issues, the website is new so there’s no redirecting errors.
Please help what can I do in order to get the site indexed
    Best regards

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with getting your website indexed by Google. It can be frustrating when search engines take longer than expected to crawl and index a new website.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like you have already taken some steps to get your site indexed, such as adding it to Google Search Console, requesting indexing, and adding a sitemap. Since it has been over 2 months and the site is still not indexed, there are a few additional things you can check and do:

    1. Check Robots.txt File: Ensure that your website’s robots.txt file is not blocking Googlebot from accessing your site. You can use the robots.txt testing tool from Google to verify this.

    2. Manual Indexing Request: If you’ve checked all the above steps and your website still hasn’t been indexed, you can consider submitting a manual indexing request. However, keep in mind that relying solely on manual indexing requests may indicate underlying issues with your website’s quality, as mentioned by John Mueller from Google.

    3. Quality Checks: Google considers various quality factors while indexing websites. Ensure your website meets these quality standards by improving the overall structure, content quality, and internal linking structure. You can refer to this article for more information on improving your website’s indexing.

If after checking these points, your website is still not indexed, please feel free to reply here, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

    Best regards.

First two things are checked and accomplish but the third one is subjective and I would like a human eye to check if it’s ok or not

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

We’ve checked your sitemaps, and it seems to be working fine. Also, your URLs are already set to index.

However, your robots.txt is not configured properly as you need to allow /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

If requests to this file from bots are disallowed, then when a search engine bot crawls your site these requests would not work, and the bot would potentially be looking at a broken version of the page.

To fix this, head over to your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt and edit this part

    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Still nothing in 1 week but I’ll wait more time and I’ll be back with a feedback

    Hello,

We checked your website again but didn’t find any issue there:

We would suggest you to check your Google Search Console coverage section to determine any issues reported on your site: https://support.artlogic.net/hc/en-gb/articles/360016851260-Google-Search-Console-errors-and-coverage-issues

You can share the error message or take a screenshot using this tool and add the link here so we can check as well.

However, you can also use our Instant Indexing for Google to submit your URLs through Indexing API: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Things are ok now and just in this morning I received the results from GSC with the fact the site has been crawled

How did you check without having acces to GSC?

    Hello,

We used the Rich Results test to check if Googlebot is able to crawl the site. Please check the Page Indexing report in your GSC account and let us know if there are any issues preventing Google from indexing your site. You can use a tool like https://imgur.com/ to share the screenshots.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I don’t know why I was informed only on 18 feb about crawling and I see the Rich Results shows another crawl on 12 feb. That’s interesting
Right now only a few images are not indexed https://imgur.com/a/szLYV7H

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

The “Crawled – currently not indexed” means Google has crawled your page but has not indexed it yet. Finding a certain number of URLs with this status is entirely normal because Google does not index all the URLs we submit.

This isn’t an error, but there are some reasons for excluding the pages from its index.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Hope that helps.

    Hello,
