    Rank Math free

    Hi there,
This may be an odd question / scenario, but here it goes.
I use another plugin called MPG (Multiple Page Generator), I use it to create programmatic pages, so that way I can create 1 template from a page or post on WordPress, and it connects to a separate spreadsheet where a keep a large amount of information/data, that then auto generates each page.

More or less, RankMath works great and the two plugins interact just fine, but there are a couple spots where they don’t work, so I’m trying to find a suitable fix, or may there is something that can be changed on your end to help me with this?

The way I build content on pages is by putting an MPG tag into the content, which relates back to the data, in this case a large spreadsheet. So for instance, where I put a custom heading, I’ll code it on page like such <h1 class=”h1p”>{{mpg_heading}}</h1> {https://pastebin.com/eg1B29Ps}. And then when the page loads, or when Google crawls it, it sees (instead of {{mpg_heading}}) “The best product you can find in a city”, or whatever the heading is for that page, that what it is supposed to do. I then take the same tag {{mpg_heading}}, and on the page being used as a template, in the RankMath settings, I enter similar tags in the snippet section (https://imgur.com/a/UjSc5QY). That works great too!

    – If I put it into the Schema section, it DOES NOT work – https://imgur.com/a/Z2NQhkl.

    – If I put it into the general Focus Keyword section, it DOES NOT work – https://imgur.com/a/qMVse8t.

    – Also, if I change the General Setting Redirection to anything other than the Default 404, it breaks all of my generated pages, and sends them to whatever the redirect is… Any ideas on that? – https://imgur.com/a/n2IM0I4

Lastly, for reference, here is the MPG plugin:
    Free – https://wordpress.org/plugins/multiple-pages-generator-by-porthas/
    Pro – https://themeisle.com/plugins/multi-pages-generator/

Any help you can provide would be very welcome!
Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Ciao,
    ~David

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

In this case, you may need to register the value like mpg_heading into a variable so you can use it in the schema or metadata.

Here’s a guide to registering a variable in Rank Math:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/variables-in-seo-title-description/#how-to-add-custom-variables

You may get in touch with their team or forward the code to fetch the data and insert it in the filter in our guide.

Regarding the fallback behavior, this should only affect 404 pages. Could you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
