GA4 Connection (Switched from Yoast)

    Rank Math free

Hello I just switched to RankMath from Yoast yesterday.
I’m not very tech-savvy, and I think I broke Google Analytics. I tried to connect RankMath to my GA4 property but I don’t think it worked?

Was I supposed to do something differently? I tried contacting my host about this but they weren’t very helpful.

I hope you can help me check that my GA4 property is linked properly.

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Can you please confirm if you are able to save and connect your Google account to the Rank Math plugin? You can confirm that by testing the connection. Please see the screenshot below for your reference:

    Rank Math support

If the issue persists, please try reconnecting your Google account using a different browser.

If that doesn’t help you, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
