Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your focus keywords not registering in the meta descriptions of your products on your website. I understand how important it is to have accurate SEO information for your products.
To address this issue, we can start by ensuring that the focus keyword is correctly added to the meta description of your products. You can follow these steps to add the focus keyword to the meta description:
- Navigate to the product page on your website.
- Click on the Rank Math SEO meta box.
- Click on Edit Snippet to access the meta description field.
- Ensure that the focus keyword is included in the meta description.
If you’ve already followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please ensure that the focus keyword is present in the first 120-160 characters of the meta description. This is important for Rank Math to recognize the focus keyword.
If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will be happy to assist you further.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

Hi, I have done the above and I am still having issues. Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
Could you please confirm if you have added the content in the Product Short Description field?

We have asked since Rank Math’s content analysis runs the tests on the Product Description (long description)

Please note that these tests are only there for your reference to help you in optimizing your pages/post content. If you feel any of them don’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.
Search Engines are smart enough to understand your focus keywords appear at the beginning of your content as they check your website’s live version.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi!
Yes I have, I am happy to send a screenshot if possible to showcase what I am seeing on my end. Please let me know the best place to send it.

Hello,
Can you please confirm if you have manually added a meta description in the Snippet editor? If you already did and the issue persists, it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Here is a video you can follow as well:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
We really look forward to helping you.
