Hello,
I apologize for the confusion you’re experiencing with the focus keyword not being found in the URL according to the Rank Math widget. I understand that the backend URL, which is not meant to be SEO-friendly, does not contain the focus keyword. However, when you view the post publicly, the URL does include the focus keyword.
The Rank Math widget evaluates the URL based on the backend link because it is the one accessible within the WordPress editing environment. It may not take into account the public URL that visitors see.
To ensure that your post is optimized for SEO, it would be best to have the focus keyword included in the backend URL as well. This can be achieved by editing the permalink settings for that particular post.
Here are the steps to edit the permalink and add the focus keyword:
- In the WordPress block editor, click on the Rank Math icon.
- Navigate to the General tab of the Rank Math metabox and click on “Edit Snippet.”
- In the Snippet Editor, click on the “Permalink” field.
- Rewrite the permalink to include the primary focus keyword.
- Save your post as a draft or update it.
By adding the focus keyword to the permalink, Rank Math will be able to detect it and show that it is included in the URL.
Please note that it’s important to have the focus keyword in both the backend URL and the public URL to optimize your post for search engines and improve its visibility.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to ask.

Hi,
re builder, no, not a paid one, its a bit odd because I installed the Gutenberg plugin, but on the edit page it always has a container saying “classic”… interesting, cancel that info, I just went to take a screenshot of what I just described and it isn’t happening… but all the other stuff is…
I have automatic update ON…
Thanks for your reply
Hello,
In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hi Reinelle,
the temporary access needs an email from you….
Hello,
You can use s******@r*********** as the email for the temporary login.
Once you are done, please share the generated temporary login URL with us in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thanks.

Hello,
Upon checking your site, it seems that your focus keyword does not match your URL:
Focus keyword: succulent garden ideas for small spaces
URL: /succulent-gardens-for-small-spaces
Please note that the focus keyword should be an exact match of those to pass the test.
However, these tests are only there for your reference to help you optimize your pages/post content. If you feel any of them don’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.
Search Engines are smart enough to understand your focus keywords in URL as they check your website’s live version.
Hope that helps.
